Getting started
Open Netho and start writing without an account. Create an album or switch to Songs to create a song. Settings → Review tutorial walks through the actual writing controls.
Keep your work safe
Your writing saves on your device. Export important songs and recordings before uninstalling the app. Export offers PDF, text, ChordPro, and editable song files. Keep recordings and original attachments separately when needed.
Sync between devices
Enable Settings → iCloud sync on devices using the same Apple Account, or pair devices in Settings → Wi-Fi sync. Keep Netho open on both devices while syncing. No Netho account is required. iCloud needs available iCloud storage and a network connection.
Sync is not a separate backup: deletions sync too. Turning sync off preserves the existing copies. Conflicting edits are kept as separate copies.
Accounts and earlier libraries
A Netho account is optional. If you used the earlier online library service, sign in under Settings → Your account and choose Recover earlier library. This downloads copies without uploading your current library.
For confirmation or password reset, request the email from Netho and open its link on that same device. Check your spam folder. If the link expired or was opened on another device, request a new one.
Delete an account
Open Settings → Your account → Delete account. Confirm your password, type DELETE, and confirm deletion. This deletes the Netho account and its earlier online library. Local songs, iCloud copies, and exported files remain; remove those separately if desired.
Recording and playback
Allow microphone access for the recorder and tuner in iOS Settings. Stop and save a recording before switching apps. Saved demos can play in the background. External music players follow their provider’s availability and playback rules.
Purchases
Netho is free to download with one album and three songs, with no time limit. Netho Unlimited removes these limits for US $0.99/month, $9.99/year, or a one-time $49.99 lifetime purchase. Prices vary by region. Open Settings → Netho Unlimited to upgrade or restore purchases. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. When paid access expires, only your first three songs remain editable. Other songs become read-only; you can still view, play, and export every song. Renew or get lifetime access to edit all songs again. Complimentary lifetime access is tied to your confirmed Netho account. Deleting that account removes its complimentary grant and does not cancel Apple subscriptions. Apple handles payment and purchase support. You can request purchase help at reportaproblem.apple.com.
